The Outdoor Plus Warranty

Product Return Policy

No returns on made-to-order goods. No returns on custom features. NO EXCEPTIONS.

If a product is delivered incorrectly, it is the recipient’s responsibility to notify TOP within 48 hours. TOP is not responsible for incorrect or damaged shipments 48 hours after receipt.

Product Testing Program

If you believe a unit or component is defective, The Outdoor Plus will gladly test it at our facility. We will cover return shipping if a defect is confirmed.

Defective Products

If found defective, The Outdoor Plus will repair or replace at our discretion. We will cover outgoing freight and replacement costs if within warranty.

Non-Defective Products

If a product is not defective, it will be returned to the customer. No credit will be issued.

TOP Error

If the return is due to a mistake by The Outdoor Plus, an RMA and Return Services Label will be issued. Credit will be applied upon receipt.

Customer Error

If the customer requests an RMA for new, unopened products, a return will be authorized. The customer covers shipping, and a 25% restocking fee will apply. Custom orders are not eligible.

Freight Policy

All orders ship FOB Ontario, California using a standard carrier selected by TOP unless otherwise specified. Freight quotes are available upon request.

Non-Transferable Warranty

Warranties are valid for the original owner only and do not transfer with resale or ownership change.

The Outdoor Plus warranties manufacturer defects as follows:

  • Electronics, Gas Valves, Pilot Assembly: Commercial – 6 Months | Residential – 1 Year
  • Stainless Steel & Aluminum Pans: Commercial – 1 Year | Residential – 5 Years
  • Burner Ring & Burner Bars: Lifetime Warranty
  • Fire Pits/Bowls/Fireplaces/Paradise Falls/GFRC/Powder Coat/Stainless Steel: 1 Year
  • Self-Contained Units: Commercial – 6 Months | Residential – 1 Year
  • LED Lighting: Commercial – 6 Months | Residential – 1 Year
  • Torches, Canvas Covers, Stainless Steel Covers, Wind Guards: 1 Year (Wind Guards not covered for cracking)
  • Copper/Corten Steel: Natural weathering not warrantied
  • Electrodes & Spark Igniters, Ready-to-Finish Products, Custom Products, Ornaments & Media: Not warrantied

Additional Warranty Conditions

  • Warranty begins on date of original sale/shipment.
  • Applies only to claims by TOP’s original customer.
  • RMA required for returns, valid for 30 days. Original purchase info must be included.
  • Product must be packed carefully; TOP not responsible for return shipping damage.
  • Warranty excludes damage from water, overheating, abuse, improper storage/installation/maintenance.
  • Surface rust on stainless steel not covered.
  • TOP not responsible for installer negligence or third-party handling/moving.
  • Labor costs for install/maintenance are not covered.
  • No liability for incidental/consequential damages.
