Deck and Den started from my own experience helping design and furnish my father-in-law’s basement and patio. While researching grills, game tables, and outdoor gear, I realized how hard it was to find a store that sold reliable brands, gave honest information, and didn’t make the process confusing or stressful. That shopping journey planted the idea — if I couldn’t find the kind of store I wanted to buy from, maybe I could build one.
From that simple beginning, the approach has stayed the same: choose products we’d be comfortable buying for our own home, from brands we trust, and build a store around that standard. We’ve never been interested in selling anything we wouldn’t personally use.
