The total cooking area is 987.5 square inches: 770.25 sq in of main cooking space on a 39.5" × 19.5" cooking grid, plus 217.25 sq in of warming rack. Burger capacity is 36. Note that some retailers list a higher combined BTU figure that includes additional burner configurations — the spec sheet figures above are sourced directly from Sunstone's product documentation.

Assembly is rated as medium difficulty. The ten modular cabinets connect with Sunstone's snap-together pin-lock system — no welding or masonry work is required for the cabinet structure itself. Most installs complete in under a day. Adjustable peg-legs level the island on uneven surfaces. Gas-line connection, sink plumbing, and electrical outlets for the warming drawer and refrigerator should be handled by licensed tradespeople per local codes.

Two outdoor GFCI outlets are needed: one for the SAPWD30PRO warming drawer (110V plug-in, cord included) and one for the SAPFR21PRO outdoor refrigerator (GFCI required). The SUN13VDB side burner's LED strip light also has an electrical connection — refer to the SUN13VDB spec sheet for the connector type. Yes — the standard package ships with one SAPWD30PRO in the SAC34SWC single warming drawer cabinet. If you entertain large groups or frequently hold multiple courses simultaneously, the double warming drawer is worth the swap.

Yes — you can swap the SAC46GLPCD gas grill cabinet for the SAC46CGDC charcoal/hybrid grill cabinet at no additional cost at the time of order. This makes the French Quarter compatible with the Sunstone 42" Dual Zone Charcoal Grill (SUNCHDZ42) or similar hybrid grills. Contact Deck & Den before purchase to request this substitution.

The RUBY5BIR requires a minimum 24" clearance from any combustible material in all directions. If combustibles exist within 24", a non-combustible heat barrier such as a Sunstone grill jacket, brick, Hardy board, or sheet metal must be installed. If the grill is installed under a covered structure, consult a licensed contractor to confirm ventilation and clearance requirements per your local building code before installation.

The SBC24CDD cabinet ships with a top drawer and center shelf in place. Before assembling the cabinets, remove the top drawer and install the included 6" false panel in its place — this must be done before the cabinet run is assembled, per the install guide. Once converted, the cabinet accepts the B-PS21 drop-in sink through the countertop cut-out above. The 6" SBC6SPEL utility spacer cabinet serves as a gap module between the grill bay and the side burner cabinet. In practice it is commonly used to route an outdoor electrical outlet for the grill's ignition power connection, as a pass-through for the LP gas flex hose or NG hard line, or for small-item storage. Its slim 6" width keeps the island run dimensionally accurate without leaving a visible gap.

Sunstone Metal Products provides a limited lifetime warranty on the 304 stainless steel cabinet structure and finish. Handles, peg-legs, kick-plates, end panels, and spacer panels carry a 5-year limited warranty. The SUN13VDB side burner brass burners and structure are covered by a limited lifetime warranty; valves, LED light, and knobs carry a 1-year warranty. The SAPWD30PRO warming drawer has a lifetime structure warranty and 3-year parts warranty. The RUBY5BIR grill is covered under Sunstone's Ruby Series warranty — see the Grill Use & Care Guide for full terms. All warranties are honored directly by Sunstone Metal Products; labor is not included under any warranty. Deck & Den passes through these warranties but does not warrant or fulfill them directly.

The French Quarter ships freight on a pallet to the contiguous 48 states. Given its weight (1,100 lbs for the NG version), it will arrive via semi-truck with liftgate service. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window. Expect curbside or driveway drop-off — the carrier does not bring the pallet into your backyard. Inspect all packages carefully before the driver leaves and note any damage on the carrier paperwork before signing. Have additional hands ready to help stage and move the individual cabinet modules to your install location.

Yes. The Sunstone modular pin-lock cabinet system is designed to be reconfigured and expanded. Individual modules can be disconnected and reconnected, and additional cabinet units or appliance modules can be added to extend the island run. The RUBY5BIR draws fresh air through the front and vents through the back. On windy days, orient the grill so the prevailing wind does not blow into the rear. If wind is blowing into the back of the grill, erect a partition wall at least 14" high to shelter the rear, or grill with the hood open while staying close by to monitor temperature.
