The 1SSB is uniquely designed to install three ways: drop-in through a countertop cut-out (10"W × 16-1/8"D), flat on a countertop using its integrated adjustable legs without any cut-out, or placed horizontally or vertically in a corner. This flexibility makes it easier to fit into the Bayou's compact cabinet layout than a conventional slide-in burner. The fully detachable cover, when removed, gives 180 degrees of access for oversized pots, pans, and woks.

The SAPFR21PRO outdoor refrigerator requires an outdoor GFCI electrical outlet. The SAC30APC appliance cabinet has a 1-gang electrical box on the interior back panel and a GFCI front panel cover for routing this connection. The RUBY3B grill uses a standard two-prong plug for its electronic ignition — this is supplied with the grill. The 1SSB side burner uses a push-button electronic ignition that is self-contained; no external electrical connection is needed.

Assembly is rated as medium difficulty. The snap-together pin-lock cabinet system requires no welding or masonry for the cabinet structure itself, and most homeowners with confident DIY skills can complete the cabinet build in under a day using the included install guide. Adjustable peg-legs level the island on uneven surfaces, and clip-on kick-plates go on last. Gas-line connection, sink plumbing, and the refrigerator electrical outlet should be handled by licensed tradespeople per local codes.

Yes — the standard package ships with one right-swing (SBC18FSDR) and one left-swing (SBC18FSDL) storage cabinet. Sunstone allows swapping either door swing direction at no additional cost at the time of order. The RUBY3B requires a minimum of 24" clearance from any combustible material in all directions. If combustibles are within 24", a non-combustible heat barrier — a Sunstone grill jacket, brick, Hardy board, or sheet metal — must be installed. On windy days, orient the grill so prevailing winds do not blow into the rear or side of the unit. Sunstone Metal Products provides a limited lifetime warranty on the 304 stainless steel cabinet structure and finish. Handles, peg-legs, kick-plates, and end panels carry a 5-year limited warranty. The 1SSB side burner brass burner carries a lifetime warranty. The A-SS17 sink basin carries a 3-year warranty; faucet/soap dispenser and drain each carry a 1-year warranty. The RUBY3B grill warranty terms are in the Use and Care Guide linked in the Manuals & Documents section. All warranties are honored directly by Sunstone Metal Products; labor is not covered. Deck & Den passes through these warranties but does not warrant or fulfill them directly.

The Bayou ships freight on a pallet to the contiguous 48 states. At 625 lbs it will arrive via semi-truck with liftgate service. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window. Delivery is curbside or driveway — the carrier does not bring the pallet into your backyard. Inspect all packages carefully before the driver leaves and note any visible damage on the carrier paperwork before signing. Have extra hands available to move and stage the modules on installation day.

Yes. The Sunstone modular pin-lock cabinet system is designed to be reconfigured and expanded. Individual cabinets can be disconnected and reconnected, and additional modules can be added to extend the island run.
