Built for island installs where cabinet sides may show internal panels, screw heads, or utility access ports, this 304 stainless steel end panel covers those edges to create a more polished, built-in look. It is typically used during the installation phase before the countertop is placed, pin-locking onto the side of the cabinet so the panel sits flush and reduces the chance of countertop rubbing on exposed cabinet edges. Compared with leaving cabinet sides open, the Sunstone SCC27EP adds a finished end cap and should be accounted for in layout planning because it adds 1" to the overall island width on the side where it’s installed.
