Summerset Gold Standard Warranty — Summary
Your investment in AMD Direct / Summerset products is backed by the Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty (effective for purchases on/after March 1, 2023). Coverage is for replacement parts (non-prorated) and applies to the original purchaser at the original site of delivery.
- Warranty is parts only (no labor, installation, or shipping costs).
- Registration required within 30 days of purchase to validate coverage.
- Warranty is non-transferable and may be void for commercial, rental, or nonresidential use without proper upkeep.
- Proof of purchase and photo documentation are required for claims.
AMD Direct Gas Appliances
(Grills, Side/Power Burners, Gas Griddle & Gas Oven)
- Lifetime (Gold Standard): Construction & manufacturer defects; stainless steel construction.
- Lifetime (Gold Standard): Cooking grates, main burners, burner covers, valves, flame tamers, heat zone separators, temperature gauges, hood springs.
- Lifetime (Gold Standard): Briquette systems.
Vent Hoods, Refrigeration, Cold Storage & Sinks
Vent Hoods
- 5 Years – Stainless steel construction.
- 3 Years – Blowers, LED lighting, wiring harness, switches.
Refrigeration (Cold Storage)
- 15″ & 24″ models: 3 Years on all construction (including compressors); 1 Year on transformer, LED bulbs, LED harness, power-source wire, LED switches, interior light wire/bulbs.
- 21″ & 22″ models: See model-specific terms (refer to your unit’s spec/warranty sheet).
Out-of-Box Claims & Display Models
- Out-of-box damage must be reported within 30 days of purchase and before installation. Installing a damaged product may void coverage.
- Display models are sold “as is.” Warranty typically covers main burners, grates, and burner covers under Lifetime terms; other items may be excluded.
Exclusions & Conditions
- Warranty covers parts replacement only; labor, installation, and freight are not included.
- Discoloration, surface rust, corrosion, or oxidation can occur from harsh environments, chemicals, or overheating and are not covered.
- Warranty may be denied for improper installation, abuse, grease/flare-up fires, hostile/extreme environments, misuse, or lack of proper maintenance.
- Coastal/humid/salt environments are subject to manufacturer review; proof of regular cleaning/maintenance may be required.
How to File a Claim: Register within 30 days of purchase, keep your proof of purchase, take photos of the issue, and contact Summerset with documentation. Coverage is for the original purchaser at the original delivery site.
