It ships with the fitted GFLID75 stainless steel lid included, protecting the surface between cooks and helping hold heat while you're cooking. Built from 304 stainless steel and ready for either a built-in cutout or countertop setup, it runs on two dedicated 120V, 15-amp circuits — one per heating zone — so an electrician can wire it in without touching a gas line at all. Independent Heat Zones, Electric Simplicity
Each of the two 1,800-watt heating elements has its own control, so you can run one zone low for eggs while the other runs hot for a sear — the same zoned-cooking approach as Le Griddle's gas Ranch Hand, just without a burner or gas line. Both zones sit under the same 1/2-inch enameled cast-iron sub-plate and 304 stainless surface that spread heat evenly within each zone, and the fitted GFLID75 lid closes down over the whole thing to hold heat in and keep weather and debris off the plate when you're not cooking.
Who It's For — The Deck & Den Take▶
The Deck & Den Take — This is the Ranch Hand for anyone who wants two real heat zones and doesn't have (or want) a gas line run to their outdoor kitchen — the lid being included is a nice bonus on top of that. Plan your electrical before you order: this needs two separate dedicated 120V, 15-amp circuits, not one, so it's worth a conversation with your electrician early rather than after the griddle shows up. One more thing worth knowing: like the smaller electric Wee, Le Griddle's published warranty on this model specifically excludes apartment and multi-family use, so confirm with Le Griddle directly if that's your situation. If you'd rather have gas burners and don't mind running a line, the gas GFE75 gets you the same two-zone layout without the extra circuit to wire.
