Per Hathaway's spec sheet: corner pockets measure 5 inches across the top upper edge of the cushion; side pockets measure 5.5 inches across the top upper edge. Both are standard tournament proportions for a 7-foot table. The molded ABS drop pockets are aligned symmetrically in the rail openings and do not protrude into the playing surface.

The conversion top is a reversible 2-piece black MDF panel — each half is 47" x 42" and the two pieces are aligned with 1/4" wood pins and joined to form the full 84" x 47" surface. One side carries white screen-printed table tennis court markings; the other is a flat surface for dining or activity use. To switch to pool, simply lift both panels off and set them aside. No tools needed. The whole conversion takes under two minutes.

Assembly requires a flat head screwdriver, a Phillips head screwdriver, and a level. No power tools are needed. Hathaway estimates approximately 70 minutes for assembly. The Park Avenue's independent leg levelers are adjusted during assembly to ensure the playing surface is perfectly flat. A level confirms the surface is true before you finalize leg positions. An unlevel playfield causes balls to drift on the break and during run-outs — even a millimeter or two of tilt is noticeable in play. Dialing it in during assembly is far easier than adjusting it later.

Use the included table brush to sweep debris toward the pockets — always brush along the grain, never across it. Keep food and drinks off the playing surface. When not in use, covering the table protects the felt from dust and UV exposure, which can cause fading in red felt over time. Replacement 7-foot pool table felt in your preferred color is widely available from billiard suppliers if the cloth needs refreshing after years of heavy use.

The MDF construction and laminate finishes are not rated for outdoor conditions — moisture, humidity fluctuations, and temperature swings will cause warping, swelling, delamination, and felt damage. With both benches positioned along the long sides of the 84-inch top, four to six adults can sit comfortably. Each bench accommodates two to three people. For larger gatherings, adding chairs at the short ends of the table provides two additional seats.
