The "Table Only" variant ships as a standalone 7-foot air hockey table with all electronics, strikers, pucks, dust cover, and hardware — no table tennis top. The "With Ping Pong Top" variant includes everything in the Table Only configuration plus a table tennis conversion top that lays directly onto the cabinet. A higher CFM means a thicker, more even air cushion under the puck. The table tennis conversion top lays directly onto the air hockey cabinet surface. No tools or hardware are needed — it just rests in place. Lift it off to go back to air hockey. The blower can be left off when using the table tennis top, keeping the surface still for paddle play.

Freetime Fun rates assembly at 30 minutes or less. The blower motor, electronic scorer, control pad, LED lights, and goal catchers are all pre-installed in the cabinet. Assembly is essentially attaching the legs to the pre-built cabinet using the included hardware pack (bolts, washers, and Allen wrenches). Two adults are recommended given the table's 270 lb weight.

Both options ship via LTL freight with a liftgate. Curbside (included at no extra charge) delivers the palletized shipment to the end of your driveway — you move it inside and handle setup. White Glove (additional fee) delivers the table to your room of choice, including one flight of stairs, and removes the skid. Neither option includes installation or assembly. Adjustable levelers are pre-installed at the base of each leg. After assembling and positioning the table, turn each foot individually until the playing surface reads level. This is an important step for air hockey — an unlevel surface creates uneven airflow and causes the puck to drift. A standard bubble level placed on the playfield works well for this adjustment.

The table is designed for family and adult play in a home game room. The 32-inch playing height is standard for adult-sized air hockey. Younger children can certainly play, though very small children may need a step stool to reach the playing surface comfortably. The fast puck speed generated by the 210 CFM blower is well suited to teen and adult players who want a genuinely challenging game.
